I’m excited to share news, tips, and updates for families raising children in New York. Welcome to Families for New York.

Who am I?

I’m an entrepreneur, education policy expert, and advocate for school choice and families. I’ve worked at the NY Charter Schools Association, Families for Excellent Schools, California Charter Schools Association, New Leaders, and Boston Public Schools. 

I started my career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., and before this received a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School. I was also the Founding Board Chair of Brooklyn RISE Charter School and co-founder of the NYS Charter Parent Council.

I’ve written op-eds published in outlets such as the NY Post, City Journal, and NY Sun, and have appeared on news programs such as Fox & Friends and Lawrence Jones Cross Country.

Having grown up in Brazil, I am now living in New York City with my sons and husband. My commitment is to a better today and a better tomorrow for our kids.
