“A Monumental and Cascading Moment for the school choice movement”
All Republican-led states have passed a school choice bill, New Hampshire expanded its school choice programs. And we still have the ECCA in Congress!
Last week Texas approved a $1 billion bill to create Education Savings Accounts that can be used for up to $10,000 private school scholarships or up to $2,000 for homeschoolers.
Now every single state that is led by Republicans has passed a school choice bill and there are school choice programs in 35 states.
New Hampshire recently passed a bill that will make its Education Freedom Accounts universal. The Educational Choice for Children Act is now in Congress and could be approved still this year to support low-income families in states that still dont have school choice.
As Tommy Schultz said to NYT "It's a monumental and cascading moment for the school choice movement".

New report by Fordham: Calculus or Statistics: Does it Matter?
A new report by The Fordham Institute looks at 20 years of data of Texas public high school students who took AP Calculus or AP Statistics to compare their long-term outcomes in college and the job market.
Their conclusion:
“While taking rigorous math courses improves postsecondary outcomes, students who take AP Calculus don’t necessarily earn higher long-term salaries than those who take AP Statistics.”
